A: Default login is stress with password stress (you may use 'sudo -i' to get root rights)

A: The default root password is stresslinux

Q: stresslinux is derived from which linux distribution?
A: The first versions are based on SuSE 7.x, this changed to ​debian until version 0.3.1.
Since release 0.4.x the builds are done with ​susestudio and are based on ​openSUSE 11.1.
Since release 0.5.x the builds based on ​openSUSE 11.2.
Since release 0.6.x the builds based on ​openSUSE 11.3.
Since release 0.7.x the builds based on ​openSUSE 11.4.
Since release 1.0.0 the builds based on ​openSUSE 12.3.
Since release 1.0.1 the builds based on ​openSUSE 13.1.
